ABOUT LATC
Language and The City offers a tailor-made linguistic and cultural experience on either a 1-1 or small group basis. The language element is tailor-made to our students' needs (private or business) and level of understanding, whilst the cultural element is designed according to themes that complement our students' interests.
We do not intend to stop at Paris, London and Milan. Our aim is to offer a similar experience in different cities around the world. This is just the beginning, so watch this space.
LAURENCE FRANZINI
Laurence taught A Level French Language, Literature and IB programmes for 20 years at the International School of Milan, and continues to tutor students in their preparation for their academic exams. An active supporter of UNICEF, she regularly takes part in their events in Milan, Geneva and Paris.
Gaining a scholarship from the Milan Chamber of Commerce for the development of social services, she completed a Drama Techniques for Education course at the Università Cattolica di Milano in 2007, allowing her to stage a number of theatrical performances in the context of education and further her passion for theatre. Of Parisian roots, Laurence travels frequently between Switzerland, France, Italy and the UK for professional and family reasons, enabling her to maintain her international relations!
